Pakistan Muslim League (N) Japan President Malik Noor Awan welcomed the meeting between Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi on the occasion of the United Nations General Assembly and said that this important meeting will further improve Pakistan-Japan relations.

Malik Noor Awan said that Ishaq Dar is highlighting the positive image of Pakistan at the global level through his wise diplomacy, vast experience and effective leadership.

He said that the discussion between the two foreign ministers on regional peace, cooperation against terrorism, trade, investment, mineral resources and further strengthening of mutual relations is very welcome.

Malik Noor Awan said that the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-Japan diplomatic relations next year can be the starting point of a new era of cooperation between the two countries.

The League leader said that Pakistan and Japan should further enhance cooperation in the fields of trade, technology, education, skilled manpower and investment. Muslim League (N) Japan strongly welcomes this positive diplomatic development.
