Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ismail Baqaei shared a picture of the animated series The Simpsons and mocked America.

In a statement on social media website X, he said that the US is disrupting commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz and trying to blame it on Iran.

Ismail Baqai has said in his post that the Strait of Hormuz was completely opened before the attack of America and Israel on February 28.

He has accused Washington of imposing an illegal and brutal war on the region, saying that the US war has affected the commercial shipping system and is driving up energy prices.

The spokesman of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that now the US is trying to blame Iran for its own disruption in front of the world and expects the whole world to pay for the war it started.

In his post, Ismail Bakai also shared a photo from the American animated series The Simpsons, showing his characters Homer and Bart standing next to a raging fire.

In the picture Bart says not to worry, this fire is under control.

He said that America started the war, but wants the whole world to pay for it while Iran is being shown responsible for this chaos.

Ismail Baqa’i has called Washington’s position of holding Iran responsible for the disruption in the Strait of Hormuz extremely absurd.
