A 12-year-old boy drowned in standing water in a plot near Civic Center in Karachi.

According to rescue officials, the youth’s body has been recovered by divers, in a large plot of land that is believed to be more than 30 feet deep.

Rescue officials say that three friends came to bathe in the water in the evening, two friends came out while the third drowned.

Friends did not tell anyone at that time due to fear, later they told the family.
