A detailed report of the Bomb Disposal Unit regarding the Kohat Police Lines blast has been sent to the Central Police Office.

According to the report, which determined the nature and quantity of explosives by determining the center of the blast, the blast crater had an apparent diameter of 6.6 feet by 11 feet and a depth of 4.6 feet.

The total amount of explosives was 869 kg, the initial identification of the vehicle used in the blast has also been made, unexploded explosives have been recovered from inside the Special Branch building.

According to the report, 2 IEDs were recovered from the ground floor while a suicide jacket was recovered from the first floor, 4 IEDs were installed in the suicide jacket, after the clearance operation, the area was declared safe and controlled.

After the blast, the attackers entered the old police lines and attacked, the attackers formed a strong front in the Special Branch Block.

It should be noted that on September 18, there was a suicide attack on the mosque of Kohat Police Lines during Friday prayers, in which 22 people, including police personnel, were martyred and more than 100 were injured.
