The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has officially registered a case and widened the scope of investigation in the case of the mysterious death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s former talent manager Disha Salyan in June 2020.
According to Indian media reports, the Bombay High Court had ordered a thorough and transparent investigation into the death of Disha Salyan, following which the CBI registered a formal FIR.
The death, which occurred in June 2020 after falling from a building in Mumbai, was initially ruled a suicide, but new concerns and questions were constantly being raised by family members, the media and legal experts.
The Disha Salyan case took place a few days before Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, leading to serious allegations being exchanged in the Bollywood industry, celebrities and Maharashtra politics related to the case.
