Muezzin of Masjid al-Haram Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani passed away.

The Saudi media and the Haramain social media account, which provides information about the Haramain Sharifeen, have confirmed the death of Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani.

On social networking website X, Harman posted a photo of the deprived muezzin and wrote that those who knew Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani closely described him as a person deeply committed to worship.

He wrote that sometimes he used to stay in the ‘mukbariya’ of Masjid al-Haram for many days, especially in the late hours of the night, to worship and get close to Allah, may Allah accept his hidden worship.

According to media reports, Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani gave the Fajr call this morning, after which he died.

His funeral prayer will be offered today after Asr prayer in Masjid al-Haram, Makkah, after which he will be buried in Jannat-ul-Maala cemetery.

A brief introduction to Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani

Sheikh Ibrahim al-Madani was born in 1976 in Medina in a religious family. His religious education was strongly influenced by his grandfather, who was a Hafiz-e-Quran, later he also obtained an educational certificate in the sciences of the Quran.

His journey as a muezzin began at the age of just 15, when he started calling the call to prayer in a local mosque in Medina.
