Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has said that the medical staff in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are protesting and striking, Sohail Afridi along with the cabinet are walking in Lahore.

In a statement issued from Lahore, Provincial Prime Minister Bukhari said that the strike is ongoing in Dera Ismail Khan in favor of the demands of young doctors.

He said that the strike of the Medical Store Association is also going on in KP, patients and relatives are forced to stumble in government hospitals.

The Punjab Information Minister said that Gomal University staff are also protesting, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has been virtually deserted for two days.
