Pakistani cricket team’s fast bowler Mohammad Abbas equaled the 27-year-old record of legendary all-rounder Wasim Akram.

The 36-year-old Mohammad Abbas batted and bowled brilliantly in the third Test match against England and distinguished himself with his performance.

Muhammad Abbas, who scored 42 runs, formed a partnership of 121 runs along with Raza Allah’s 81 runs for the 9th wicket and played his role in bringing the total score of the team to 449 runs.

Mohammad Abbas dismissed the first 2 batsmen of the English team chasing the target of 130 runs in the first overs.

Earlier, this feat was accomplished by Wasim Akram against Sri Lanka in 1999, and he also became the first Pakistani player to take 2 wickets in the first overs of a Test match innings.
