Muhammad Rizwan’s application against NCCIA notices rejected

The Lahore High Court rejected cricketer Muhammad Rizwan’s petition against the NCCIA notices.

Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Alia Neelam heard the application of Mohammad Rizwan, on this occasion his lawyer Qazi Umeer Ali appeared in the court on behalf of cricketer Mohammad Rizwan and told that notices were sent to my client.

On this, Chief Justice Alia Neelam said that you should go and answer the notice, on which date the notice was issued to you.

Counsel for the petitioner said that after the Lord’s test, the petitioner was called to the hotel lobby, the petitioner was interrogated without notice and the mobile was seized.

He said that the applicant gave the mobile phone on the assurance that it would be returned after 3 hours, however the mobile phone has not been returned to the applicant till date which shows bad faith.

Rizwan’s lawyer said that the anti-corruption unit of ICC is the forum to protect the cricketer from corruption, the case against the petitioner was not sent to the anti-corruption unit of ICC.

It should be noted that national cricketer Muhammad Rizwan has challenged the summoning of NCCIA in the Lahore High Court.
