Several videos of an unidentified object flying over the skies of Iran’s capital Tehran on Sunday went viral on social media, recalling a famous aerial incident that happened 50 years ago.

According to international media reports, a mysterious object with rainbow colors can be seen moving rapidly in the sky in 2 videos released by the organization Open Source Intelligence Monitor.

According to the agency, it was not immediately clear what the object was in the videos.

This incident is being described as similar to the incident of a bright unidentified object seen in the sky of Tehran on September 19, 1976, when Iranian authorities reported seeing a bright object in the sky, after which Iranian warplanes allegedly flew to investigate it.

The 1976 incident is still considered a landmark event among UFO researchers today, with US military officials reporting on the incident in classified documents released by the US government.

Iranian authorities have not yet released an official explanation for the unidentified object seen in the sky.

It should be noted that on the one hand, videos of a recent mysterious object have come out in Tehran, while the spokesman of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards, Hossein Mohibi, has said that Iran will bring new weapons with new capabilities to the field, and that the world will be surprised.

Spokesman Pasdaran has said that Iran has new targets that have not been targeted before and that Iran is ready for a long war.
