Names of 110 family members including Arvind Kejriwal removed from Delhi voter list

Lahore (Khalid Mahmud Khalid) National convener of Indian opposition party Aam Aadmi Party and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and 110 members of his family have been removed from the voters list of Delhi. Apart from Kejriwal, his wife Sunita Kejriwal, son Pulkat Kejriwal and parents Govind Ram Kejriwal and Geeta Devi are also included, whose names are not included in the draft voter list of New Delhi Assembly Constituency AC-40, Part-51, KG Marg, while Kejriwal and all his family members are registered voters of the same constituency. The Aam Aadmi Party has called the Election Commission of India’s move as a possible irregularity in the election process and sought an explanation. It should be noted that in the draft electoral roll released on August 31, out of 1.45 crore registered voters of Delhi, 47.5 lakh names were not included in the draft list. Kejriwal has earlier criticized the Election Commission for omitting the names of a large number of voters from the draft list. He says that the disappearance of more than 47 lakh names in Delhi is a serious matter.
