The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued a decision to review the tariff of electricity.

The decision was issued after the Appellate Tribunal rejected an appeal against revised electricity tariffs.

In its decision, Nepra has maintained the average tariff of electricity at Rs 32 37 paise per unit.

KElectric’s multi-air tariff is scheduled for FY 2023-24 to FY 2029-30.

Nepra had earlier set an average tariff of Rs 39.97 per unit for electricity.

Revision petitions were filed by KElectric and other concerned parties against the initial tariff of Rs 39.97 paise.
