The war of words between the mayor of New York City, Zahran Mamdani, and the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has intensified over the issue of the Gaza war.

Zahran Mamdani, while giving an interview to the American media, called Netanyahu “a war criminal and the architect of the horrific genocide against the Palestinian people.”

His statement came before Netanyahu’s participation in the United Nations General Assembly.

In his reaction to Zahran Mamdani’s statement, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu accused the New York mayor of supporting Hamas and inciting protests against New York Jews.

Netanyahu said that he will tell the ‘truth’ about Israeli soldiers at the United Nations and also about Zahran Mamdani.

Addressing the mayor of New York, he said that you should be ashamed of your support for Hamas and riots against the Jews of New York.
