The critically acclaimed fake documentaries from actresses Diane Morgan and Charlie Brooker (Black mirror) is hugely popular, and then, viewers will get a unique look at over 100 years of cinema history through the lens of Philomena Kank. The upcoming fake documentary is titled Being on the moviescoming soon to BBC and Netflix.

Described as Konk’s “most fascinating” series to date, the upcoming 3-part series charts the history of cinema, from its humble beginnings, through to the New Wave filmmakers of 1960s cinema. She also reflects on what the future holds for the film, especially with the rapid rise of artificial intelligence. Check out the official description below:

The three-part series will explore the invention of the camera by New Wave filmmakers in the 1960s, through to the introduction of computer technology and what the future of artificial intelligence holds. Kunuk will try to demystify it all as she sits in lumpy seats with stale popcorn, asking herself where did cinema come from? And why? What does he want? Why doesn’t he tell us?
