Jewish protesters also took part in a pro-Palestinian march outside the United Nations in New York, rejecting Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s claim that they represent Jews around the world.

According to Arab media, the demonstrators protested against Israeli actions in Gaza and Netanyahu’s policies.

A demonstration by a Jewish peace group was also held on this occasion, in which more than 400 people participated.

Near the United Nations, pro-Israel protesters staged counter-protests and demanded that Israel continue to act.

The protesters on both sides also raised slogans against each other.

Later, thousands of people marched against Netanyahu’s visit to the United Nations.

According to the New York police, 103 people were arrested during the protest, but they were later released.
