
The Chief Minister of Indian Punjab, Bhagwant Mann, has said that the next month’s men’s education will be held in Pakistan Asian Champions Trophy Hockey Tournament I have been granted permission to participate.
Indian Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant has said that there is no problem with Pakistan’s participation in multi-country tournaments, it is possible that individual bilateral series between India and Pakistan cannot be held.
Bhagwant Mann has assured full support for the successful organization of the tournament and said that Punjab is determined to make this tournament a success for the first time in its history.
Secretary General of Indian Hockey Bholanath Singh has said that the relations between the hockey federations of India and Pakistan are excellent.
He says that the players of both countries also respect each other and show mutual respect on the field of play.
It should be noted that the Asian Champions Trophy will be played from October 27 to November 5 in which teams from India, Pakistan, China, Japan, Malaysia and Korea will participate.
The league stage matches of the tournament will be played in Jalandhar while the semi-finals and final will be played at the Hockey Stadium in Mohali, Oman and Bangladesh have been included as alternate teams in case a team withdraws.
India will enter the tournament as the defending champions, having won the title in Chennai in 2023 and Holonboer, China in 2024.
This annual tournament organized by the Asian Hockey Federation could not be held last year.
