Islamabad (Khalid Mustafa) Pakistan received the second shipment of LNG from Qatar this month. The LNG carrier “Shandong Redwood” departed from Qatar and anchored at PGPL terminal on Wednesday morning. Pakistan contacted Iran for safe passage of the shipment. The power sector is expected to get relief. The supply from Hormuz is still important. The shipment is procured under a long-term LNG contract and its price is equivalent to 13.37 percent of the Brent price.
