
Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen has been appointed as the specialist mentor of the England men’s white ball team.
According to the announcement made by the England Cricket Board (ECB), Kevin Pietersen has been appointed as the specialist mentor of the England white ball team.
Kevin Pietersen will join the team to prepare for the ICC World Cup next year, ECB said.
The announcement said that Kevin Pietersen will take charge of the white ball series against Sri Lanka along with Brendon McCullum. Kevin Pietersen will remain with the team for the tours of Australia and South Africa.
According to the England Cricket Board, Pietersen will also be with the team in the home series against Pakistan and New Zealand.
In his statement in this regard, Kevin Pietersen says that I am proud to have been offered to help the England team to win the World Cup.
