Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif condemned the targeting of civilian and economic structures in Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in a telephonic conversation with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, expressed full solidarity with the leadership and people of Saudi Arabia.
The Prime Minister said that the activities of the Houthis are a threat to regional peace and security, the activities may cause disruption in the global economy and energy supply.
According to the announcement of the Prime Minister’s Office, the telephonic conversation between Shahbaz Sharif and Muhammad bin Salman took place in a very warm and friendly environment.
He said that Field Marshal Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister will continue efforts to reduce tension. Will continue to try to establish peace in the region.
During the conversation, Shahbaz Sharif paid tribute to the Saudi Crown Prince for his wise and far-sighted leadership during the current crisis.
The Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, while Muhammad bin Salman appreciated Pakistan’s continuous and unwavering support for Saudi Arabia.
The two leaders agreed to maintain close ties and wished for an early meeting.
