Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Act is enforced in Islamabad, violation of which is punishable by three years imprisonment.

The district administration says that Section 144 is in force in Islamabad, no gathering of any kind is allowed in the federal capital.

According to the administration, gatherings in the city are also banned under the Peaceful Assembly and Public Order Act 2024.

The district administration said that in case of violation, strict action will be taken as per the law.

The statement said that violation of the Act is punishable by 3 years imprisonment. Citizens are requested not to be part of any illegal activity.
