Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that everyone living in Punjab is my responsibility.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of electric bus service in Multan, he said that the service is being started with 60 green buses, soon 160 buses will run.

Punjab Chief Minister said that green bus fare is 20 rupees, while it is free for students, women, senior citizens and disabled people.

Maryam Nawaz has said that special vans have been made for special people and air-conditioned buses are equipped with free Wi-Fi and CCTV cameras.

He said that in this financial year, green buses will run in every district of Punjab, 3000 electric buses will be available to serve the public while 100,000 electric bikes will be given to the students.

The Chief Minister of Punjab has also said that green buses are running in such areas where people have not even heard the name of government transport.
