The ring that was lost in the lake of New York, USA, was found after 28 years.

It is reported that a New York high school class ring that went missing 28 years ago was finally found by two metal detecting enthusiasts. This ring is worn by former students on graduation ceremony.

Michael Siegel and Dylan LaPorte were hunting for treasure in Great Sacondaga Lake when they found a ring from 1988 from Red Creek High School.

They both told the media that we heard a sound on the metal detector and then turned over a rock and the ring was lying there. After that, post pictures of the ring on Facebook in hopes of finding the owner.

Contacted Red Creek High School after not getting a clue for a long time and spoke to the secretary. He immediately recognized his former classmate Kim Rossbeck’s name engraved on the ring. Ross Beck said he lost the ring 28 years ago while spending a day at the lake with friends.

Rossbeck further said that I told him that I will pay for the cost of sending the ring back to you. But they weren’t quite ready for that. They said, no we just want the ring back to you.

The two men said they enjoy returning people’s lost valuables to their owners. “I’m glad I was able to return this ring to its owner,” said Michael Segal.
