Saudi Arabia pulled out of China’s digital currency project to avoid US pressure.

The British newspaper Financial Times has claimed that Saudi Arabia has separated from the Chinese-led digital currency network Mbridge.

According to the report, the Saudi Central Bank has confirmed to stop participating in the AmBridge network.

According to the report of the Financial Times, the Mbridge network is a system in which participating countries can transact directly instead of the US dollar system.

According to the report, the Saudi Central Bank had completed the experimental phase of M Bridge in May 2025.

According to a Financial Times report, Mbridge aims to enable direct digital currency transactions between central banks of different countries.

According to the report, it is also seen as an alternative to the US dollar and global payments system SWIFT system.
