Islamabad (Report by Hanif Khalid) Pakistan’s sugar industry is suffering from severe downturn. Out of the 80 sugar mills in Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 15 sugar mills in Sindh and Punjab have been closed. The x mill rate of sugar in Sindh has started to fall rapidly.
