Karachi (Staff Reporter) The Sindh Assembly, the House approved the resolution of the PTI member regarding reducing the prices of petroleum products on the occasion of Private Member’s Day. Senior provincial minister Sharjeel Inam Memon supported the resolution and said that the people are very worried due to the rising prices of petroleum. Government levy more than 100 rupees per liter is a big tragedy it should be abolished. According to the details, a resolution of the opposition member regarding reducing the prices of petroleum products in the country was approved in the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday on the occasion of Private Member’s Day. The resolution was presented by PTI MLA Mohammad Owais which was not opposed by the government. Senior Provincial Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon supported the resolution and said that the people are very worried due to the rising petroleum prices. The government takes a levy of more than 100 rupees per liter. This levy should be abolished. He said that MQM is an ally of the federal government, it should talk to the federal government to give relief to the people. He reminded that MQM was an ally of the PP government in the past. At that time, when the price of petrol increased by one rupee, he left the government, but at that time these people are enjoying the government. He said that those who are sitting in the federal cabinet are on this issue. Speak up. We strongly support this agreement and demand that the federal government end the levy. He asked the federal government to be careful about petroleum prices. Sharjeel Memon said that why MQM federal representatives do not raise their voice against the price of petrol? He said that MQM is a part of the federal government, it should clarify its position on the price of petrol.
