Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUIF) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman supported Jamaat-e-Islami against petroleum levy.

Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has contacted Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi by telephone.

Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that all the opposition should raise their voices on inflation and public issues, JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that he supports Jamaat-e-Islami’s movement against petroleum levy.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi said while talking to Hafiz Naeemur Rehman that the democratic struggle of Jamaat-e-Islami on public issues is worthy of praise, the federal government should give relief to the people on petroleum levy.
