Iran has called on the International Atomic Energy Agency to investigate attacks on peaceful nuclear facilities from legal, institutional and technical angles and bring those responsible to justice.

At the same time, Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization head, Mohammad Eslami, has been called a US robbery by the Iranian authorities for preventing him from participating in the annual meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

Spokesman of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baqaei, said that an attempt has been made to prevent the spread of Iran’s voice in the world by not issuing a visa to Mohammad Islami in Austria.

The spokesman of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Behrouz Kamal Vandi, said that stopping the Iranian official at the meeting held in Vienna is an attempt to bully the US.

He said that America has set an example that will affect all members. That’s why everyone should stand against this political pressure and bullying.

Iran’s delegate to the IAEA, Reza Najafi, called the US move a violation of Iran’s rights and the International Atomic Energy Agency’s constitution.

The 70th General Conference of the IAEA began on Monday in Vienna, in which the annual report of the organization, nuclear science and technology, technical cooperation and measures related to preventing attacks on nuclear facilities will be discussed.

Iran has submitted a formal request to stop attacks on or threats against nuclear facilities for peaceful purposes. The meeting will continue till Friday.
