Muhammad Al-Bakhiti, a senior official of Yemen’s Ansar Allah organization, has claimed that the Houthis have gained complete control over Bab al-Mandab.

According to Iranian media, the Houthis have captured key areas and military bases in Al-Khalid and Jabal al-Nasr in the western province of Tez.

According to Iranian media, the Houthis have reached the inner parts of Al-Mukah port on the Red Sea coast and have captured Al-Mukah Airport, while the resistance fighters have surrendered in large numbers.

Al Makkah is of great strategic importance, from here ships can be monitored in the Red Sea and it has its own military importance as well.
