In the matter of positive dope test, the international agency has accepted the position of Pakistani wrestler Inam Butt.

Inam Butt has submitted his detailed explanation to the International Testing Agency after the Asian Beach Games silver medalist wrestler tested positive for dope.

The clarification statement said that the prohibited drugs were not used to increase potency but for eye treatment.

He added that his case was not obtaining the relevant permission in time during the medical treatment, which amounts to mistake and negligence.

According to the sources, the international agency has accepted the position of Inam Butt, after which relief can be found in the case.

He is likely to be banned for a few months while the ban period will come into effect from April, his silver medal from the Asian Beach Games will also be revoked.
