People’s Party supported Tehreek-e-Insaf in the Sindh Assembly, the resolution to reduce the prices of petroleum products was unanimously approved in the House.

In the Sindh Assembly, PTI member Muhammad Owais presented a resolution regarding reducing the prices of petroleum products.

Senior Minister and Provincial Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon supported the PTI member’s resolution.

The resolution to reduce the prices of petroleum products was unanimously approved in the Sindh Assembly.

The provincial minister termed the collection of levy of more than 100 rupees on petrol by the federal government as a big tragedy.

Sharjeel Memon said that the petroleum levy should be abolished in the current situation, in 2008, when petrol was increased by one rupee, MQM left the coalition government of People’s Party.

He said that the MQM are allies of the federal government, talk to them, the salaried class has gone bankrupt, the federal government should come to its senses and abolish the petrol levy.
