The sale of flight tickets to Iraq has been suspended in Iran.

According to Arab media reports, Iraq has stopped providing facilities to Iranian flights at all airports.

Earlier, all flights to and from Iran were suspended at Iraq’s Najaf International Airport from today.

According to a news agency from Baghdad, Iraq was considering diverting Iranian flights from Baghdad to Najaf after suspending Iranian flights at Baghdad Airport.

The suspension at Baghdad Airport, which took effect on Wednesday, comes after the United States threatened to impose sanctions on any airport serving Iranian airlines.
