Islamabad (Reported by Hanif Khalid) The sugar industry has rejected the decision of ECC to export two lakh metric tons of sugar. The meeting of the Economic Coordination Committee of the Federal Cabinet in the federal capital has decided to allow the export of two lakh metric tons of surplus sugar. After the meeting, concern was expressed that the Ministry of National Food Security had completely ignored the data of the sugar mills and their stand was not heard.
