The United Nations Security Council has condemned the increasing attacks of the Houthi rebels on Saudi Arabia.

The current president of the council and France’s representative to the United Nations, Jerome Bonafont, said in a joint statement that the members of the Security Council have condemned in the strongest terms the continuous attacks of the Houthis against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The statement said that these attacks have targeted civilian and energy infrastructure resulting in injuries to civilians including women and children.
