Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal has said that the increase in oil price increases inflation, the whole world is seeing the fear of inflation.

In Islamabad, Ahsan Iqbal told the monthly development update briefing that the world is facing a crisis, due to the Gulf situation, oil prices continue to rise.

He said that due to the increase in the price of oil, inflation increases, all the economies of the world are affected, the whole world is seeing the threat of inflation.

The federal minister further said that Pakistan is on the path of stability today, the next destination is growth, the price monitoring committee is keeping a close eye on the prices.

He said that I have repeatedly said that economic independence lies in exports. By 2035, exports should be up to 100 billion dollars annually. It is hoped that exports will increase in the coming years.

Ahsan Iqbal also said that Pakistan’s digital technology sector is developing rapidly, it is hoped that exports will increase in the coming years. Rupee has been stable for 2 years. Government will issue auto policy soon.

The federal minister said that the 6 percent growth of 2022 was a disaster, with exports not linked. In the first 2 months of this year, remittances were 7 billion 30 million dollars, overseas Pakistanis are our heroes.

Ahsan Iqbal said that our challenge is to connect exports with global markets, foreign investment has increased by 24% this fiscal year, the confidence of global investors is increasing on Pakistan.
