US President Donald Trump has expressed his desire to see the two parts of Ireland united.

According to a media report from Dublin, President Trump spoke to Ireland’s Prime Minister Michael Martin.

On this occasion, the US President said that the union of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland will happen eventually, so why not now.

President Trump also met with Irish President Catherine Connolly.
