US Senator Bernie Sanders has urged President Donald Trump to stop making threatening statements against Iran.

According to foreign media reports, the American senator says that talking about destroying the Iranian people is tantamount to war crimes and barbarism.

He also said that America should never associate itself with such action.

In a statement released on social media, Senator Bernie Sanders has described the current conflict as illegal and unconstitutional.

He demanded the Congress to take immediate action to end the war.

Bernie Sanders has written that no Mr. President! We must not destroy the people of Iran, it is a war crime, barbarism and something America should never be associated with.

It should be noted that in his address to the United Nations General Assembly in New York, US President Trump said that the terrorist regime of Iran is exhibiting very bad behavior.

He also said that I am going to announce a big decision, I have to decide whether to destroy Iran or let them flourish again.
