Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has said that the international community has lost its trust in the United Nations.

He said this on the occasion of his arrival in New York before the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to foreign media reports, Abbas Araqchi said that the visit is actually taking place in conditions that are practically still in a state of war.

He said that naturally our main goal is to use a big global platform to defend the legitimate position, rights and interests of the Iranian people.

He says that from the platform of the UN General Assembly, the voices of the martyred leader, the Iranian people, the martyrs of Iran, and the martyred children of Menab Primary School will be conveyed to the world.

The Iranian Foreign Minister said that the United Nations has lost its credibility and trust due to its failure to establish international peace and security.

He pointed out that today’s meeting of the United Nations General Assembly is going to start under the title of ‘Rebuilding Confidence’.

Abbas Araqchi said that it is a global recognition that due to the failure of effective establishment of international peace and security, the trust in this institution has decreased or completely disappeared.

He said that some countries have given themselves the right to act without fear, ignoring international institutions, international laws and even the collective conscience of humanity, they claim immunity for themselves and their allies.

The Iranian foreign minister concluded his statement by saying that as a result, we see that a criminal entity like the Zionist regime has an open license to do whatever it wants, while the Western and European countries, which claim to be the bearers of human rights and humanitarian laws, remain silent spectators.

Abbas Araqchi also said that when any problem of any person comes to light anywhere in the world, Western countries start shedding crocodile tears, but they remain silent on the massacre of 168 children of Menab Primary School in Iran, they do not even condemn it. In these circumstances, the world will not trust international institutions.
