The possible reason for the suspension of the flight system for several days in the United Kingdom has come to light.

According to a report by the Financial Times, a flight plan submitted by a British military aircraft led to the incident, which almost paralyzed the flight system in UK airspace for several hours on Tuesday.

According to sources, the data recorded by the military aircraft caused a malfunction in the wider air traffic control system, which took several hours to restore and required several attempts to get the system operational again.

Britain’s National Air Traffic Services (NATS) initially attributed the problem to a technical fault.

Earlier, NATS chief Martin Rolfe apologized to passengers for the severe disruption to air traffic from Tuesday to Friday.

According to media reports, the UK’s Civil Aviation Authority will conduct an independent investigation into the matter and submit its report in 6 months.
