
US President Donald Trump has signed a bill imposing sanctions on Russia and Iran.
According to American media, the current US sanctions against Iran have been extended under this new law, while the scope of sanctions, tariffs and other sanctions against Russia has been expanded under the new law.
According to media reports, under this law, the US president will have the authority to impose tariffs of up to 100 percent on countries that violate sanctions.
Earlier, the US House of Representatives approved the legislation by a vote of 262 to 159 on Wednesday.
According to US media, this law passed the Senate by 86 votes to 11.
