Vitamin B9 deficiency is a major cause of fatigue and poor memory

According to a medical report, many people think that constant physical fatigue and forgetfulness is just work stress or lack of sleep, whereas the real reason may be deficiency of an important vitamin ‘folate’ / vitamin B9 in the body.

Folate is essential for making red blood cells in the body. Its deficiency causes anemia, due to which the supply of oxygen to all the organs of the body is affected and the person feels tired all the time.

Folate keeps brain nerves and neurotransmitters active. Its deficiency causes poor memory, difficulty concentrating, and moodiness or lethargy.

Muscle weakness, dizziness, pale complexion and swollen or blistered tongue are also prominent symptoms of folate deficiency.

According to experts, green leafy vegetables (spinach, broccoli), pulses, peas, eggs and nuts are the best natural sources of folate that should be included in the daily diet.
