Actress Sonali Kulkarni has revealed that she was jealous of Tabu when she won the National Film Award for Best Actress for the film ‘Machas’ in 1997.

Sonali Kulkarni revealed in a recent interview that she wanted to win the National Award at the beginning of her career and used to watch Tabu’s films because of that desire.

According to the actress, during the shooting of the film ‘Mission Kashmir’, I was waiting to meet Tabu in Film City, Mumbai.

Sonali said that this meeting made me realize that big artists are also like common people, there is no point in being jealous of famous artists and when, who will get an award is not in the hands of artists but depends on their performance.

During the interview, Sonali also told an incident related to Aishwarya Rai that once I admired Aishwarya’s dress and found out that the dress was designed by Aishwarya herself.

It should be noted that Sonali Kulkarni has also received a special honor of the National Film Award for her performance in the short Marathi film ‘Chitra’ in 2002, but the actress says that her desire to achieve more success remains.

According to Indian media, Sonali Kulkarni’s new film ‘The Paradise’ will be released in theaters on September 24.
