The Federal Bureau of Statistics has released the weekly inflation report, the weekly inflation in the country has increased by 0.49 percent.
According to the Bureau of Statistics, the overall annual rate of inflation rose to 10.64 percent, with diesel and petrol becoming the most expensive of all commodities in the recent week.
According to the report, the prices of 19 essential items increased in 1 week, while the prices of 9 items became cheaper and the prices of 23 items remained stable.
The Bureau of Statistics said that in 1 week, diesel became expensive by 7.29% and petrol by 6.40%, LPG prices increased by 3.26%, garlic by 1.94% and eggs by 1.72%.
In the recent week, prices of pulses and mutton also increased, bananas fell by 6.17% and tomatoes by 5.66%, while onions by 4.57% and chicken by 2.33%.
Prices of rice, flour and sugar have also decreased this week.
