Welcome to your comprehensive guide to all the movies and TV shows scheduled to leave Netflix (US) throughout October 2026. As we head into the Halloween season, Netflix is doing some major fall cleaning, which means you only have a few weeks left to watch some huge licensed titles before they leave.
The first of the month always brings the biggest wave of takedowns, and October 1st is no exception. If you’re planning your next movie nights, you’ll want to prioritize hits like Sony’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, animated favorites like The Boss Baby, and essential classics ranging from Clueless and Fargo to the original Ghostbusters.
It’s also shaping up to be a very rough month for TV fans. Several massive licensed shows that have been long-time staples of the service are currently scheduled to exit. Get ready to say goodbye to heavy watches like Showtime’s Shameless and Nurse Jackie, along with teen drama favorites Dawson’s Creek and Gossip Girl. We’ll also see a few Netflix originals depart as their exclusivity licensing period nears the end, including Finnish crime drama Deadwind.

One of the biggest series that was originally scheduled to leave in October was Seinfeldbut as announced last month, Netflix has Rights renewed for another five yearsso it’s not going anywhere.
