Chasing the target on the fourth day of the Birmingham Test, England were in trouble early on, with Mohammad Abbas sending both England openers Ben Duckett and Emilio Ge to the pavilion for a combined total of 2 runs.
After that, captain Joe Root and Jordan Cox played responsible batting to guide the team to victory without further loss.
Joe Root was unbeaten on 62 and Jordan Cox on 59.
In the first innings of the Test, Pakistan scored 133 runs, in response to which England scored 453 runs, while the Pakistan team scored 449 runs in the second innings, so England got a target of 130 runs for success in the second innings.
The host team achieved the target at the loss of two wickets and won the three-match series 0-3 and completed a clean sweep in the three-Test series.
Dennis Lawrence was named Player of the Match while Pakistan’s Muhammad Abbas and England’s Ollie Robinson were given Player of the Series awards.
