It should be remembered that Ali Fazal has played the central role of Guddu Pandit in this film. The character has been hugely popular with fans since the release of the series in 2019 and has officially become a part of Indian pop culture.

This role of Ali Fazal is quite appreciated among his fans, but after the release and success of Mirzapur: The Movie, his popularity reached new heights.

Since the film’s release in theaters last week, many fans have shared photos of Guddu Pandit’s name tattooed on their arms, while one fan even got Ali’s face tattooed on his body. When Ali saw the pictures, he said that he was overwhelmed by the love of the fans.

He said, “Well, the fan following has increased over the years, but after the release of the film, this love has increased manifold, which is a source of great humility and gratitude for me.”

The film has also been praised by critics and is breaking records at the box office. The film is expected to cross Rs 200 crore worldwide by the end of Thursday.

Directed by Gurmeet Singh, the film is produced by Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar, while Qasim Jagmagiya and Vishal Ramchandani are co-producers. The film was released in theaters on September 4.
