Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board Mohsin Naqvi met the players of Pakistan U-19 cricket team and encouraged the young cricketers for their excellent performance in England.

In the meeting, it was decided to give central contracts to U-19 players for the first time.

According to head coach Shahid Anwar, after the excellent performance in England, Chairman PCB invited the players, met them individually and appreciated their performance.

Mohsin Naqvi says that central contracts will encourage young cricketers to perform better and reward good performance will increase the confidence of the players.

Captain Farhan Yusuf said that the U-19 development camps organized in Multan during the last 2 years have benefited the players a lot and have yielded positive results.

Farhan Yusuf says that meeting the Chairman PCB and getting central contracts for the first time is encouraging for the players.

Alian Salman said that the central contracts will increase the confidence and motivation of the players and the cricketers will be able to focus more on their cricket.

According to Jahangir Bilal, through central contracts, young players will be able to support their families financially.

Rizwanullah thanked Chairman PCB and Pakistan Cricket Board and said that the announcement of prizes and central contracts is a great encouragement for young players.
