A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member National Assembly Junaid Akbar in the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
FIR No. 152/2026 filed against the state at the NCCIA Cyber Crime Reporting Center, the case refers to Junaid Akbar’s alleged threatening statement in the video.
A case was registered against Junaid Akbar under Sections 9, 10 and 11 of the PICA Act, which said that Junaid Akbar’s statement talked about making Islamabad somanat, the statement created panic and threat to public safety.
According to the FIR, Junaid Akbar is accused of allegedly spreading anti-state content and narrative.
