A notification has been issued for the removal of the Deputy Registrar Multan Bench

Deputy Registrar Sheikh Zahoor Ahmed has been issued a notice to remove him from his post for appearing as a customs officer.

According to the notification, Sheikh Zahoor Ahmed is also accused of embezzling crores of rupees.

On the order of Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Alia Neelam, Sheikh Zahoor Ahmed was made OSD, he was performing his duties in Multan Bench.

It was stated in the petition that Sheikh Zahoor Ahmed introduced himself as DG Customs Pakistan and demanded Rs 7.55 crore for the customs clearance of the vehicles.

The petitioner took the stand that Sheikh Zahoor Ahmed ended the contact after receiving Rs.755 million.
