According to government officials, the sick newborn from Jalalabad along with his parents reached Pakistan through Torkham border where he was shifted to FC Hospital.

Officials say that the child is undergoing treatment at FC Hospital and is being provided with necessary medical facilities.

In view of the fragile health of the Afghani newborn, the Pakistani authorities have given special permission to provide timely treatment.
