Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senator Palusha Khan, who is part of the ruling coalition, has inquired whether the referendum can abolish the procedure mentioned in the constitution.

Senator Palusha Khan, Minister of State for Law Barrister Aqeel Malik and PTI leader Shafi Jan participated in Geo News program Capital Talk.

The female senator of PPP added that the reputation of the referendum has been quite bad in the country, tell me when the political governments have conducted the referendum?

He said that when the method is listed in the constitution, can the referendum abolish it? People’s Party’s position from the first day is that what the people want should be done.

Palusha Khan also said that we had heard that the meeting of the Senate was expected from September 17, the discussion on the issue is happening everywhere except where it should be.

He said that the People’s Party did not treat the PTI the way the PML-N did in Lahore.
